Let users set product weight and volume in product-specific units of measure while keeping storage in Odoo’s default units.

Key Features

res.config.settings: Lets admins choose default units of measure for weight, volume, and length used when creating products.
product.template: Adds per-product weight and volume unit fields and exposes corresponding values on the product form for users allowed to manage multiple UoMs.
product.product: Stores weight and volume without rounding and converts them to and from each product’s chosen units to preserve precision.
product.product: Shows a warning when a selected weight or volume unit makes the value too small to display so users can pick a more precise UoM.
technical: On installation, recomputes existing product weight and volume values from their product-specific units to the default units when legacy per-product UoM columns are found.
