hr_employee_relative
This module lets HR teams store and maintain structured information about employees' family members and their relationships.
Key Features
- hr.employee: Introduces a Relatives tab and One2many field so HR users can manage multiple linked family records directly on the employee form while hiding the old spouse and children widgets.
- hr.employee.relative: Captures each relative's relation type, name, partner link, gender, birth date, job, phone, and notes with an onchange that copies the contact's display name.
- hr.employee.relative: Automatically computes each relative's age in years, months, and days from the birth date to keep age data current.
- hr.employee.relative.relation: Defines a dedicated relation model with translatable labels and preloads common relation types such as spouse, child, parent, sibling, cousin, and grandparent.
- security: Gives all internal users read access to relatives and relation types while restricting create, write, and delete operations to HR managers.
