This module restricts helpdesk portal customers to predefined teams and categories when creating tickets.
Key Features
- res.partner: Partners store the helpdesk teams and categories they are allowed to use in the portal, ensuring ticket options are limited per customer.
- helpdesk.ticket.team: Teams maintain the list of partner records authorized to open tickets for them, making customer eligibility explicit for support managers.
- helpdesk.ticket.category: Categories keep track of allowed partners so that only whitelisted customers can classify tickets under them.
- portal: The portal ticket creation page only offers the teams and categories assigned to the logged partner (falling back to active public options) and enforces the company's requirements for mandatory selections.
